The Uracil-DNA Glycosylase (UDG) is a recombinant UDG/UNG derived from Escherichia coli, capable of efficiently removing uracil-containing DNA templates. The UDG/dUTP system eliminates residual PCR product contamination while preserving the integrity of the natural nucleic acid template for amplification.
