2023年10月，新镁（上海）生物技术有限公司通过上海市宝山区2023年“先投后股”试点第一批拟立项项目公示，正式入选“先投后股”支持项目。这是宝山区首家获得“先投后股”立项的合成生物学企业。
新镁生物作为一家合成生物学领域的初创公司，定位于提供高质量的酶工程产品及解决方案，以满足生命科学研究、诊断与治疗、食品及其他工业应用领域对安全、经济和可持续发展的需求。此次入围“先投后股”政策项目，将有效助力其科技成果向现实生产力转化，也将为宝山区和南大智慧城打造合成生物发展新高地提供科技硬核支撑。
“先投后股”试点政策是国家发改委和科技部为促进科技成果转化推出的创新改革举措，目前上海仅有宝山区揭榜“先投后股”创新改革试点任务。主要针对特定的科技成果转化项目，先期以支持科技项目方式“投”入目标企业一定财政扶持资金，在目标企业进行市场化股权融资时，将所投入的财政扶持资金转化为相应“股”权，并由区属国资公司持有，伴随企业成长一段时间再执行股权退出的支持模式。自推出以来，已成为科创宝山的“金字招牌”。
